Common Questions

Is a trial session essential?

No, it's not essential but if at all possible we do highly recommend that you have a trial. A trial takes place several weeks or months before your actual wedding and is a good way to save precious time on the big day. (Please note that trial costs are not included in the price of the wedding day).

What's involved with a trial?

A trial is a chance for us to meet and try out some different hair and makeup styles. We would recommend an in-salon service and chat through any ideas and looks that you like. It's a great idea to bring your veil or any hair jewellery or head gear you have chosen. (Please note that trial costs are not included in the price of the wedding day).

What other services do you offer?

We are a team of fully qualified hair & make up stylists with over 40 years combined experience. Other services offered are manicures, pedicures, neck & shoulder chair massage for stress relief, bronzing application with brush (To gently deepen & blend colour & a touch of sparkle, looks amazing!), eye-lash application single to add fullness or whole lash application and clip-in hair extensions for extra length or fullness.
We also offer a complete in-salon menu to cut, colour & treat your hair leading up to your wedding day. This ensures we have created the perfect look that compliments the trialled hair style & the over-all look for your wedding day.

How far in advance do I need to book?

You can book your wedding hair a year in advance (we work year to year, so you can book anytime this year for any date next year). Please secure your date as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Click online enquiry form at any time to make a booking.

How do I pay?

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your date. The remaining amount can be payed on the day by cash or contact us for alternative arrangements.

What areas do you cover?

We are based in Echuca, Victoria. We offer a mobile service and travel approx. 150kms radius from Echuca.

I want to make a booking, what do I do now?

The first step is to fill in the online enquiry form, call or email to check availability for the date you want. Then:
Have a look at styles, and think about the look you are going for.
Contact us to book your trial, if you decide to have one.
Speak to other members of your wedding party and decide what other services you need.
If you have several bridesmaids it is a good idea to think about whether they will have the same or different styles, and whether they also need a trial.
Have your trial, bringing any accessories with you and the perfect hair style for you. (Please note that trial costs are not included in the price of the wedding day).
Check and finalise your booking with us to ensure that we have enough time for everybody in your party.
Relax and enjoy being pampered!

How does my hair need to be on my wedding day?

If you are having your hair up we usually advise that you wash it the night before - this ensures your hair is not to soft making it easier to put up and stay up. If on the other hand you are having your hair blow dried it is better to wash your hair the morning of the wedding. Down and curly styles are also better to be washed the previous day as they hold better and last longer.
